Pre-Order Policy

Introduction

Many of our gowns and formal dresses are available as pre‑orders or special orders. These items are made to order and/or supplied directly from our designers and suppliers. This Pre‑Order & Special‑Order Policy applies to all items not currently in stock but ordered specifically for you.

Definition of Pre‑Order / Special Order

A pre‑order or special order refers to any item:

• Not physically in our Brisbane showroom at the time of ordering

• Ordered from the designer or supplier specifically for a customer

• That may require a lead time for production or arrival

• That is not considered a stocked item

Order Confirmation & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of placing a pre‑order or special‑order item. By completing payment, you acknowledge and accept all conditions outlined in this policy.

Estimated Delivery Timeframes

We will provide an estimated delivery window based on supplier information. Please note:

• Delivery timeframes are estimates only

• Production delays, shipping delays or customs events may occur

• Forever Bridal & Formal is not responsible for delays caused by designers, manufacturers or freight carriers

Colour, Fabric & Dye Lot Variations

Special‑order gowns may have slight variations in:

• Fabric tone or shade

• Lace placement or pattern

• Beading and embellishment

• Texture or finish

These variations are normal within garment manufacturing. They are not considered faults.

Sizing Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct size is chosen at the time of ordering. Our team is happy to assist with guidance; however, the final decision is made by the customer.

Special‑order and pre‑order items cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded due to incorrect sizing.

Cancellations & Changes

Once a pre‑order or special‑order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled, altered or refunded for any reason other than those required by Australian Consumer Law.

Returns & Refunds

Pre‑order and special‑order gowns are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. This includes change of mind, event cancellation or postponement, budget changes, incorrect sizing or improper fit.

Faults & Manufacturing Issues

If a pre‑order item arrives with a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 2 business days of receiving your gown. Clear photos and a written description are required.

Minor imperfections that can be rectified through standard alteration techniques are not considered faults.

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, we may offer:

• Repair

• Replacement

• Store credit (in eligible situations)

As determined based on the nature of the fault.

Alterations

Alterations are not included in the price of the gown. Customers are responsible for arranging alterations independently. Forever Bridal & Formal is not responsible for alteration outcomes, sizing changes or fit issues after alterations.
