Alterations Disclaimer

Introduction

Many gowns purchased from Forever Bridal & Formal require alterations to achieve the best fit. This Alterations & Tailoring Disclaimer outlines what customers can expect and clarifies responsibilities regarding any alteration work performed by independent tailors or seamstresses.

Independent Tailor Responsibility

Forever Bridal & Formal can provide in‑house alterations.

This refers to any alterations that are performed by independent third‑party tailors or seamstresses who operate separately from our business.

• They set their own pricing and timelines.

• They assess garment suitability for adjustments.

• They determine the alteration techniques required.

• They operate under their own policies and responsibilities.

We are not responsible for the outcome, workmanship, delays or decisions made by any independent tailor.

Fit & Sizing

Alterations are a normal part of bridal and formalwear. Customers are responsible for selecting their gown size at purchase. The need for alterations does not indicate a manufacturing fault.

Alteration results may vary depending on body shape, posture and fabric characteristics.

Alteration Risks

Customers acknowledge that all alterations carry some level of risk, including but not limited to:

• Fabric stress or strain marks

• Limited seam allowance restricting adjustment

• Beading, lace or embellishment movement

• Stitch visibility or minor inconsistencies

• Differences in fit due to body changes after fitting

These are normal considerations within the tailoring process and are not the responsibility of Forever Bridal & Formal.

Charges & Timing

Alteration fees are separate from the purchase price of your gown. Customers are responsible for all costs associated with alterations.

Alteration timelines vary. Customers should allow sufficient time before their event date to avoid delays.

Post‑Alteration Responsibility

Once a dress has been altered by an external tailor, Forever Bridal & Formal cannot:

• Accept returns or exchanges

• Assess for faults in altered areas

• Take responsibility for changes in fit, comfort or appearance

Altered garments are considered final sale.

Customer Agreement

By proceeding with independent external alterations, customers acknowledge and agree that Forever Bridal & Formal:

• Is not involved in the alteration process

• Is not responsible for tailoring outcomes

• Cannot guarantee fit after alterations

• Cannot refund or exchange an altered garment
